My name is Julia. Now I know you don’t like when people ask for advice more than once, but I need your help, a lot. I don’t know if you remember me, but I was the girl with the bisexual mother. Well first thing first I have two problems. First my mom is getting worse. I know you really can’t do anything about it, but if you have an input? Over winter break my siblings and my mother got into a really big fight. My mom wasn’t really home during the break only for half of Christmas… When she DID come home it was with Michelle (her girlfriend) (OH and my parents aren’t divorced yet…) anyway one night my mom ran away. She just left the house and didn’t take her car. Only the kids were home (there are 6 of us) and we all went to look for her, and it was the scariest moment of my life, I thought something horrible had happened to her. Finally she called us from a pay phone in the city, turns out she walked to the train station and got on a train. And well I just don’t know how to act around my mom, because if I try to defend myself or talk to her she usually starts crying and I know one day she will do something REALLY stupid, and well it’s hard because I don’t know what happened. I used to love my mom, and now I can barley talk to her without getting upset. She never home, because she always stays with Michelle and she recently told us that she might not try to come home anymore. It feels like she has put Michelle before her own children and it hurts, and well it just breaks my heart to know.
My second problem is with my best friend (this one will be shorter I promise) we got into this really big fight because she ditched me and then I became a third wheel. We talked it all out and then the other day she yelled at me at school, and well it’s really difficult to explain. Basically while we were friends we never really trusted each other and well do you have an advice on how to gain trust? Because we decided to start out friendship ALL over, so we could build a trust, but then she blew up.

I know that I should probably seek professional help, but your opinion and your advice means a lot to me, and I would truly appreciate your help. I have a very serious boyfriend whom I have been discussing marriage with for a while now, but we have yet to get engaged. My problem is that when I was a child, I was raped by a family friend, though, since I was only around four years old, I don’t remember who it was. My boyfriend doesn’t know about this, and my family doesn’t either, since I’ve been too scared to tell anyone and afraid of what they might do or say. I know that if I keep this from him and if he finds out, he may call off any relationship and our hopes of being together in the future might come to an end, which I don’t want at all. But if I do tell him, he will most likely make me go to the police and tell my parents, which I really don’t want to do. I don’t want to put them through any pain of having to know about what happened to me almost 20 years ago. I have told a few friends, and previous boyfriends, and they have each accepted it and kept it a secret, since that has been my wish, but my relationship with my boyfriend now is much more serious than any of those relationships were, and I have no idea how to go about this. Okay so my mom has a boyfriend who she’s been with for quite a while. She and him have been getting into fights and their relationship hasn’t been improving. Every time I go to her house now I get depressed because he’s there and there is always a bad vibe in the air and she gets mad at him quickly. She has tried breaking up with him but she can’t. I like it, not love, i like being at college but i hate being away from home. its really expensive to go here and and my mom keeps asking me if i wanna leave here and go to the community college near my home. i would cause i miss being home and seeing my dog everyday. but money is really tight because my dad died 2 years ago and my mom doesnt make much. i really wanna do something in the entertainment industry and Monmouth has a really great communication program but i know when i leave im gonna have debt till i die. idk what to do like should i stay hear and pay my loans off till im 80?…or should i go to the community college and save money? it would be alot easier to go to the community college but i like it here…

I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m only asking you because I found out my friends hate me and I don’t want to talk to my parents. You, Shanedawson and Sxephil are the only people to make me laugh. But I think I may be suffering from mild depression. I always want to cry and cut myself. In fact, I have started to cut myself. I even carved 2 broken hearts into my arms. Now I don’t want to tell my parents, because they don’t know. I need help, but I don’t want to go to a therapist, they don’t help. And to make it even worse, I fell head over heels for a boy who hates me. The only way I can express myself anymore is with poetry. And my mom found my poetry. I had a crush on a guy, and we went out on a date, but then he started telling me how he loved me. I still like him, and I told him that I don’t use LOVE until at LEAST a couple months in. Okay so my mom has a boyfriend who she’s been with for quite a while. She and him have been getting into fights and their relationship hasn’t been improving. Every time I go to her house now I get depressed because he’s there and there is always a bad vibe in the air and she gets mad at him quickly. She has tried breaking up with him but she can’t. I like it, not love, i like being at college but i hate being away from home. its really expensive to go here and and my mom keeps asking me if i wanna leave here and go to the community college near my home. i would cause i miss being home and seeing my dog everyday. but money is really tight because my dad died 2 years ago and my mom doesnt make much. i really wanna do something in the entertainment industry and Monmouth has a really great communication program but i know when i leave im gonna have debt till i die. idk what to do like should i stay hear and pay my loans off till im 80?…or should i go to the community college and save money? it would be alot easier to go to the community college but i like it here…

I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m only asking you because I found out my friends hate me and I don’t want to talk to my parents. You, Shanedawson and Sxephil are the only people to make me laugh. But I think I may be suffering from mild depression. I always want to cry and cut myself. In fact, I have started to cut myself. I even carved 2 broken hearts into my arms. Now I don’t want to tell my parents, because they don’t know. I need help, but I don’t want to go to a therapist, they don’t help. And to make it even worse, I fell head over heels for a boy who hates me. The only way I can express myself anymore is with poetry. And my mom found my poetry. My best friend and I have been friends with each other since freshman year(were seniors now). We would hangout every week and things would never be boring with each other. But last year she got a boyfriend and I don’t know what happened but she became obsessed with him and became ignorant to everyone else’s feelings. Since I had been friends with her for so long I just sucked it up and got over it. But recently we started hanging out less and not talking as much and the conversation didn’t flow like it did before. This depressed me because we were such good friends before and I didn’t know why we were growing apart, because she never said anything was wrong. Now whenever I try to hangout with her she says she’s busy or has other plans, and I find out later from a mutual friend that they were doing something and she didn’t bother to invite me or my other friends. It makes me sad that she’s not even trying to be friends anymore and I don’t want to loose my friend. What can I do to fix our friendship because we went through so much with each other and how can I tell her that her and her boyfriend are not the center of the world without offending her?
