there aren’t even words to describe how i feel about American Idol, saying the show sucks now would be an understatement. however, watching Brooke cry on Wednesday night was LOL-worty and for sure and at least somewhat entertaining.

I dont care about Idol anymore. There’s not much competition. Wasnt this supposed to be like the BEST SEASON EVER?!?….

At the beginning of this one you did call it the top 6 instead of top 5, but W/E we forgive you, and it says top 5 at the top of the post heading anyway, Does anyone know what this weeks theme is?
Michael, I think your live shows are goin great, people really seem to like it when you answer questions durring the chat. so maybe more of that, and the advice is great. It’s alot of fun to anticapate weather or not you’ll answer a question we posted in the forums, so thats cool too. Anything that helps us get to know you better is what I think we all want

I agree, Buck, the finale is totally gonna be David vs. Effie!David. And I’m so glad Brooke finally went home…she’s a sweetheart but she’s just not good enough. She was so emotionally unstable when she was voted off that she cut the song short when she sang before the credits…LOL XD
I absolutely hate Jason Castro. He needs to get a haircut. *shudder*

I don’t even watch Idol anymore. I would rather watch your recap videos which are way more entertaining. This has been the worst season yet on Idol.

Buck you amaze me. I love the fact that its done in one take. I personally think this was your best idol recap of the season.
Your live chats are going great too. You really know how to make them fun. I like how you have stuff planned ahead of time. After your chat I was browsing some other peoples live chats and oh boy were they snooze worthy. I mean come on there was one of just a duck. No joke…just a duck.

Real men don’t need to be rude or abrupt with people in order to prove that they have cajones. That only proves that they have no manners.
This world is swirling down the toilet in large measure because we don’t show each other kindness and respect anymore.
That David is downright decent is one of the things beside the spectacular voice that draws me and millions of others to him.
It’s weird how being nice is considered foul these days. You know, what you piss on you tend to get less of. Do you really want less thoughtfulness and kindness around you?

I like the barefoot thing. I have friends who are percussionists and they always perform barefoot. And trust me, percussionists are the COOLEST musicians of the bunch. They are the rebels. Going barefoot is a sign of comfort on stage. You go, Syesha!
Jason still sucks. Roadhouse David is still going to win.

No offense but I disagree with going stage on barefoot. If a performer really felt secure, I don’t think they would need to resort to a gimmick like that. Maybe in a smaller setting it would be genuine to go barefoot but on American Idol in from of millions of people? I think in that situation it’s forced and pretentious. I think it’s cool that David A. shuts his eyes when he’s performing. I can relate to how he feels when he does that because he’s really feeling the music, you see his passion. Jason does suck, it’s time for him to go home.

David Archuleta hit it OUT of the park tonight, folks! Simon was right–he CRUSHED the competition.
Jason wants to go home. I say, let him go. He’s pretty, but it IS a singing contest, after all, not a pretty contest–as Buck would say. Syesha has stepped up to the plate. She deserves to stay on and sing. Ultimately though, it will be the Davids, and I still think the best singer of the bunch will win. That would be David Archuleta.
When David A. is off the show, I think you’ll see a MUCH more relaxed stage presence. He doesn’t get anxious singing. He’s in the zone when he sings; he loves it! It’s being judged that he finds so unnerving. When that part is over and done, I predict he’ll be in hog heaven on stage doing what he loves–singing his heart out. Then, it’ll be FUN times for the Archulator–and the audience who will lap it up!
