Do you watch TV late? I always am watching Sex in the City at midnight and lately Golden Girls on Lifetime!
The other night I was up late and watched Craig Ferguson- LOVE HIM SO MUCH! That is what I talk about in this video.
Not so much a fan of Carson Daily……do you watch him? Should I try it again?
And OMG I am nice to Seacrest in this one!
Are you an early to bed person or or are you up late reading, playing video games……watching Sex in the City?!
I eat all night too- I always get up with atleast one dog at 3am and have these toasted french toast things!
LOL - love the intro song. I was wondering when it would make a re-appearance.
I always watch nightly sex & the city reruns! And Girls Next Door, too.

I am always up late writing papers and studying, because I absolutely hate doing while it is still daylight outside! So I always and I mean always watch SEX IN THE CITY and I have watched Craig Ferguson a few times, but I agree I really don’t like Carson Daily, now! I liked him when he was younger and hosting TRL on MTV, but now….um NO!

I have a toddler so I am ALWAYS up late because I can’t get anything done while he is awake. So as soon as he hits the crib I am doing the dishes, cleaning the house, doing the laundry and watching reruns of Friends. I also am addicted to House so I will watch that too (I have it on DVD) SO, I am not a fan of Carson nor Craig. Its nothing personal I’m just not a talk show person. I too remember Carson on TRL when I was in middle school. I liked him then. But I think he is trying too hard to stay “young.” He isn’t old by any means but he isn’t 23 anymore either. Someone mentioned The Girls Next Door… I don’t get that show… are they his kids? are they his girlfriends? What is the point exactly? I don’t dislike the show, I just don’t quite understand it.

haha - the 3 girls are Hef’s girlfriends. Holly is his “main squeeze.” The point of the show? Hard to say. Like so many other reality shows, there really is no point, except to follow the girls’ daily activities and events. Pointless? yes. But entertaining to watch!

CRAZY COINCIDENCE! I happened to get in really late last night from work and saw Craig Ferguson for the first time. I thought he was neat, I’m a sucker for accents too so I actually thought he was kind of hot too. Whatever!
I try to be an early to bed person, I am meticulous about my schedule in hopes I’ll follow it and make it to the gym in the morning but I never do :-(.
Oh well, we’ll try again this evening I’m sure!!!

Ferguson is good and I watch him sometimes but having to wake up at 6:30 everyday I try and go to bed around 12 but most of the time the computer (facebook, myspace, youtube, buckhollywood, etc) just doesn’t allow that to happen

I’m always up late. On school nights i usually go to bed at 1am or smth. On Friday’s it always either 3am or 4am. I you know, i know it’s not healthy but I just can’t help it, i’m addicted to internet, lol.

Conan and Ferguson compete for my attention. I love me some Conan but Ferguson is a riot and a genius. His book ” Between the Bridge and the River” is excellent-I know you don’t read, but the next cruise take it with you! LOL
I agree about Carson Daly-he comes off as way too smug.
As for me-I am usually a night owl. I always say I am going to bed early but then I look up and it is midnight or 1am. And then I am up at 3 to get my DH ready for work and then again at 7 for my daughter to go to school. I am tired just thinking about it.

Oh Im so excited! Ive been a Craig Ferguson fan ever since he won out to take over the spot! Hes hilarious… “Im your host ..TV’s Craig Ferguson. Its a great day in America”.. and he’s like you because he has his little catch phrases he does all the time… “Remind you of anyone?” And he always says.. “Do you have a picture of Paul McCartney?” and then shows a pic of Angela Landsbury!! Oh gosh… Im ranting but he is so funny. He’s been on my DVR for years. I even got teary eyed when he filmed himself becoming a citizen.
And of course, I love Sex and the City and Golden Girls. In the morning I like to watch Designing Women though. I wanted to be Julia Sugarbaker when I was like 12.

hey michael! where I live staying up late is a national sport
I can go until 5-6am no problem unless I have to wake up really early the next morning. i play video games, surf the net or youtube etc. it’s fun!

I’m always up late chatting on AIM and watching TV. I like to watch GSN( Game Show Network), E!, and VH1. I think I have insomnia or something cuz when I want to go to sleep I can’t and I end up watching tv untill like 3 or 4 in the mourning when I have like an 8:30am class! lol Love it!

I love Craig Ferguson, he is funny, and totally insane. ^___^ I kind of wish he could better guests more often. But he’s one the west coast and most of those shows are on the east coast, so I guess it’s harder. LIke certain people will make a tour of all those shows, but he’s on the other side of the country, so a bit of of the way. I always stay up until at least midnight because I have to watch The Daily Show at 11:00 and then The Colbert Report at 11:30pm. You should watch those shows! I loooove Stephen Colbert. Plus, I end up staying up late on the Internet most nights, until probably 1 or 2 in the morning.
I’ve only seen Craig Ferguson’s show a handful of times and he is really funny. And I love his accent!

When Simon bashed poor Carlie’s dressing skills, I liked that Ryan got pissy with him and said “What’s your problem tonight?”, I thought Carly was gonna sic her tatoo covered hubby on Simon. ANYWAY, I want Ryan to call Ramielle (who needs to GO HOME) Vanjayna Malluby by accident . . .you know because she’s this years Sanjaya but with a vagina. I’m actually a big fan of Carson Daly. I think why people don’t like him is because he’s a jackass to the people he doesn’t like, but, in all honesty, that’s what appeals to me. He doesn’t pretend to have respect for people that he shouldn’t. I dunno. He took a while to grow on me, but I like him a lot. He seems very real, even if he is kind of smug. I’m smug, too, so I see no problem with other people being full of themselves. And he *is* very nice to the online community.
I think Conan’s funny. I’ve never watched Craig Ferguson, but I know that when all the Britney drama was going on, he said he wouldn’t make fun of her because he supposed to make fun of the powerful and not the weak. That made me respect him.
I don’t like Ryan because he’s sickeningly nice to everyone. I know that there are some bastards that he hates, but he comes across as, “Oh, I’m nice to all these flaky celebrities. I’m such a martyr.” Please.

I’ve been really upset with TV lately. It seems to be filled with all that crap and buzz from MTV. Like The Hills, Making the Band etc.etc and not to mention all the pointless dating shows that are mainly a ploy to bring in ratings and show trashy strippers and some baby’s mama blah blah blah. XD *( Baby’s Mama looks like a funny movie)
I am a complete night owl, I am so random( I think its due to the fact that around 1 my brain turns to mush yay) last summer I would stay up till like 5 in the morning and sleep till like 1 or 4 the next afternoon. Hahah mom wasn’t pleased.
Im not a huge fan of Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parkers commentary is annoying. I did like that show ” Living with The Mek Tribe” haha and not for nudity or the penis objects XD okay maybe for the penis object lol. Also did anyone notice that the History channel has weird sex topics on later at night… really i thought it was simple in and out and your done, but they manage to make it this HUGE thing XD.

SPRINT PRODUCT PLACEMENT. instead of a phone, the girls talk on this cell phone and ALWAYS zoom in so that you see the “Sprint” logo when they’re talking. and afterwards, they put the phone on the table and the camera zooms in again so that you can clearly see that it’s a sprint cell phone. god.. lol.

I love Craig Ferguson! I think hes really good too. He has a fun personality that doesnt seem fake. I like Conan O’Brien too but not as much. His face is a little creepy too :p BUT I still like him. They both have the lower ratings and crappier time slot. I dont get it!! Cause for CBS, David letterman is before Craig and Jay Leno is before Conan. I dont like Letterman or Leno! I mean they can be funny sometimes but theres something about them that just isnt as good! They dont seem to be having as much fun when they interview people.

I want your shirt!!! It’s a hot mess. Oh, I saw Craig F once and loved him. He was interviewing tranny hot mess, Chirstian after he won Project Runway. Fabulous interview..lasted about 20 minutes. Very cool. I hate Carson. He’s a mananorexic. He must know someone to stay on the air. He should have been cancelled after his first season. He is arrogant. Did you notice that his neck is so thin, his shirt collars are huge on him.
When I can’t sleep I just channel surf and usually end up watching lifetime movie channel or some nutty informercials

Honestly, I’ve only seen Carson Daly a couple of times, so I really have no comment on him. Craig Ferguson is good (but like another person said, he doesn’t seem to get interesting guests very often).
I’m usually awake until 3am-ish. I channel-surf until I fall asleep, and my late-night viewing goes something like this:
Turn on TV, check what’s on Adult Swim, see if Leno has anything interesting, ditto with Letterman, back to Adult Swim, oh look! a Scrubs rerun on a local station, check out which episode of Will & Grace is on CW (seen it), back to Adult Swim (eww, it’s one of their new sucky shows), stop by the Weather Channel to see if it’s going to rain tomorrow, is ‘Red Eye’ interesting tonight?, what’s on ‘Good Eats’?, is the History Channel showing Aliens or Lumberjacks? (don’t care for those shows), one last stop by Adult Swim… fall asleep watching Inuyasha… wake up and see some odd Pokemon character on the TV and realize I fell asleep with the TV on again, turn off TV.

First off- I would wear your “Buck” shirt in public! Those need to be given to the masses! Anyway, I use to always stay up very late and I’ve always been a big fan of Conan O’ Brien. It’s just nice to have someone that amusing to entertain me at such a late hour. I also watch re-runs of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” when I can’t get to sleep. I’ll also stop by the History Channel or Food Network to see what’s on. Sometimes I’ll watch re-runs of the first season of “Flight of the Conchords”. I’ve seen them all a dozen times but they’re so funny! Have you watched it? It’s hysterical! I’m so excited it’s coming back for a second season!!!

Oh my gaw, Buck, we are totally soul mates! I LOVE Craig! I’ve been a huge fan of his for years and watch his monologues on YouTube all the time. I think he’s so sweet and nice and down to earth, but so clever and funny too! And the fact that he’s Scottish is just adorable. I really wish he’d get a primetime show so that more people could see him. You’re right, he does outshine all his guests. LOVE HIM! I’m coming to California over the summer and it’s my dream to be in the audience for the Late Late Show and see Craig live. I would die, I would just die! (Where’s that from?)

I LOVE Craig Ferguson!! I tape him on my DVR and watch when I have time. He is SO clever and just naturally funny. His goofy little mannerisms are great. His improvization of Prince Charles is hilarious!! He’s also really cute and has that killer accent I love!
Another thing I really like about him is that he’s a genuinely NICE person! He kind of reminds me of Johnny Carson in that way (wow, I’m really dating myself, here!). Johnny Carson was funny, silly, crazy, entertaining–but always nice without fail.
It turns me off when comedians rip someone’s guts out for a laugh. To me, it’s low class behavior. A little dig or something small I can live with, but hatefulness just turns me off completely. I’ve seen Letterman do it, some other small potatoes on in the late night, Leno never. Craig Ferguson never.
I think Craig Ferguson is the best thing out there in late night television.
It was also neat to see him go through the process to become an American citizen. He is so happy and proud to be an American. I love it!

Hi Buck! I’m studying abroad now and stay in touch with the US by watching your videos and a few others online, including The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. I also watch Craig Ferguson’s monologues, they’re posted at:

So for those of us who don’t have TiVo, who go to bed early, and/or who don’t have access to American TV, that’s a good way to keep up to date. They’re only monologues and some skits, though, not interviews. But yeah, he’s a very talented performer.

I am toatlly in love with Craig too! On top of his cbs stuff..he also does stand-up comedy shows. Absolutly amazing! Tip: I log onto the cbs website and watch his dialogs. they post his full opening dialogs every few days on their site (ok…just said that) I dont ever get to see a full show, but thats ok.

I agree with your views about Craig Ferguson =D
I think he’s one of the most consistently funny hosts out there, I don’t know, everything he says is so funny, and it’s natural, like, it just sort of flows out
It’s a really effortless humor, and I love that!

Dude, it’s horrible, but lately I’ve been in the habit of going to bed at like, 6 in the afternoon. Before that I used to stay up REALLY late, like 3, 4, 5 in the morning. And then sleep all day. But I’m kind of better now, I just have to break the early to bed habit, and get into a late-to-bed-early-to-rise habit so I can watch my Ghost Hunters AND Invader Zim on a Wednsday-Thursday transition thing.
I’ll stop being all talkative now. That’s your thing.

I watch Nick at Night every night. I don’t know how I don’t get bored of the never ending reruns of doom. Insomnia is a horrible curse XP

You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear you talk about Craig Ferguson. I’ve been watching him for ages and I think he’s amazing. Last week he had “Dr. Seuss Week,” and one night he read to the audience from a Dr. Seuss story. And it was genuine, heartfelt, and hilarious all rolled into one. Honestly, I don’t think any of the other late night hosts on TV now could ever reach the sort of hysterical genuineness that Craig has every single night.
The other thing that’s great about him is that since so many things are unscripted, he and the actors in different sketches he does try to make each other laugh all the time. It’s a type of spontaneous humor that I absolutely adore.
I definitely recommend TiVo-ing him. That’s what I do, since I don’t stay up late enough to watch him in real time.
P.S. If you Google him, you can find his website on CBS and watch the last week’s monologues and other sketches. I recommend doing it. He’s brilliant.

Yep, I watch TV if I can’t sleep. Last night’s feature was Orgazmo, and I’m kind of embarrassed to say I find Matt Stone, an actor in it who also co-created South Park, on the hot side. His character basically existed to say I don’t wanna sound like a queer or nothin’ but…” followed by various statements such as “Depeche Mode is a really great band,” “you have a really hot ass,” “I would like to make love to you.” Although he didn’t have an affair with his desired Orgazmo or even Ron Jeremy, Matt Stone’s Frank the Lighting Guy ended up with John Marlo’s Sancho after Choda boy launched a cock rocket at a mansion. All that said, none of them came near your star quality!!!!!

PS - Craig Ferguson’s amazing. He was a guest on another show, discussing how people in LA don’t sleep in the nude because they’re afraid of earthquakes, and all Angelenos might be rudely awoken to find him running down the street buck-naked. It might not SOUND that funny but it was hilarious with his cheeky sense of humor.

I’m not a big fan of late night talk shows, but Craig Ferguson is pretty good. Can’t bring myself to stay up and watch though since my schedule doesn’t permit it. What really turned me on to Ferguson is this clip I saw on YouTube - everyone should check it out:

Yeah, but those talk shows aren’t all that. I spend more time before going to bed watching on Youtube this yahoo- Micheal Buckley. Actually not even on YouTube that much anymore due to time constraints. Usually go right to BuckHollywood.com. would rather watch some reruns of BUCK!

BUCK!!!!! Holy crap!!!! I love craig ferguson, he is amazing. but what i love about craig ferguson most is that he is connected to improv!!!! did you know he used to do a show with drew carey; the drew carey show? and they did live shows where the actors have to improvise the jokes; totally unscripted and totally live??? and did you know drew carey had a show called Whose Line Is It Anyway? and it’s a TOTALLY IMPROV SHOW with 4 other people (who are the main people, drew’s just the host) and they are AMAZING. WATCH IT. SERIOUSLY. I AM HOOKED ON IT SINCE LIKE 4 YEARS AGO AND NOW I AM INSANELY GOING THROUGH YOUTUBE JUST TO LOOK FOR IT.
here’s a video of craig ferguson and greg proops (insanely great comedian) :D:D:D:D since they do improv they are extremely talented and funny off screen, so the talk shows are obviously amazing since they are really really funny and they’re just being themselves. (greg proops is also an improv artist and was on alot in Whose Line is it Anyway so OF COURSE their talk was really funny.

Craig Fergison is hysterical! How can you like the Scot but tease Carly on AI for her “think” accent? I would think you wouldn’t be able to understand Craig either, LOL!
I love it when Seacrest says “This is American Idol” because it gets me jazzed up for the show, but I think you are right about the rest of the scripted stuff. His rhythm and cadence seem very formulaic.
