Buck Sings TV Theme Songs For You!

Today is game day and I posted my usual game over on You Tube! How did you do on the Disney movies? That was probably the best I have ever done! I used to pretend I was the Little Mermaid and go up on rocks and sing…..I have problems!

Speaking of singing….many of you know I love to sing! My favorite songs to sing are Irreplaceable by Beyonce, Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne and Big Girls Don’t Cry by Fergie!
I got an email with a list of 20 TV theme songs asking me to sing as many as I could! Thanks Allison Jane!! I miss TV Theme Songs! They are non exisistant today!
So I did! I will not post this on YOU TUBE! This is just for you guys! It is long so shut it off at anytime! Feel free to sing along! Oh yeah and I am driving. I thought that would help!

LOL I could so see you on that car insurance commercial. you know, when everyone in the car is laughing and having a good time, then a car from nowhere crashes into them. a blackman walks out and is like, “an accident occurs every minute. will you be prepared?” or something. I like how serious he got when singing the Friends song. I love the Patty Duke song too but what about Who’s the Boss, Taxi, Dear John, Out of This World wow there are so many once you get going did Alf have words? Shows were better in the 80s than now.

Nice! I didn’t do so well with this game…I only knew off the top of my head a few, until I actually watched the video, then I remembered a lot. It’s a bit before my generation sadly enough though. I did a lot better on the Disney movies 20/20!

I looked up the heights
The Heights was a rock and roll band made up of a group of ambitious, young, mostly blue-collar kids hoping to ride success out of their middle-class lives. The members of the group were Stan (guitar), who worked for his father, Mr. Mike, owner of the bar/pool hall where the group hung out; Dizzy (drums), a plumber’s assistant; Rita (saxophone), a dispatcher for a beer distributor; Hope (guitar), whose wealthy family supported her while she played with the band; J.T. (guitar), the lead singer, an auto mechanic with a long-standing love/hate relationship with Hope; Lenny (keyboard), who worked at the Seven Seas restaurant; and Alex the newest member of the group, a sensitive poet/songwriter who worked in a grocery store. Alex, who was in love with Rita, also sang leads, and his presence caused friction with J.T., who didn’t like anybody else singing lead. The series chronicled the ups and downs of the band members as well as their evolving relationships. At least one new song, filmed as a video montage, was performed each week. Ironically, the single version of the series theme, featuring Jamie Walters as lead singer, hit #1 on the Billboard charts in early November, one week before The Heights was canceled.

Re: Jamie Walters. They had him on 90210 for a while as Donna’s (?) love interest. The writers ended up taking and giving his character an awful temper and making him an abuser. Needless to say this carried over into his music career where the teens couldnt (or wouldnt) separate Jamie from the character and would give him problems while he was on stage performing. He seemed to leave the spotlight shortly after (who can blame him ?). It’s a real shame because he had a very nice voice to listen to. Here’s a link for some info on him.
