Thats awesome tht you had a belly button ring… my sister just got her tounge peirce not too long ago for her Bday. I made fun of her, she was talking with a lispe. LOL. But i wanna get my bellybutton peirced… it wud go good with my bikini… lol

Tattoos can be used as an incentive too, Buck. One day, I plan on quitting my teaching job and opening my own bakery. As a result, I’m getting a cupcake tattooed on some part of my body this month. I’m just a little afraid of the pain.

Although piercings seem just as painful. Especially nipple rings- ick.

I KNEW IT! Haha, I thought on mulitple occasions (sorry I am just as bad at spelling as you are) that I could have sworn that I saw a belly button ring, even in a YouTube video I saw it, I kept rewinding cuz I was curious, but since YouTube doesn’t have a slow motion feature I couldn’t be certain.

Anyways you should at least keep the belly button ring just to save as a reminder of when you were young. XD Oh and I don’t mean thaat you are old!!! You seriously look like you are 23ish! Long live youth!

I totally want to give you a whole freaking lecture on tattoo removal techniques, but then again I get your point of getting sick of the tattoo eventually perfectly well, so you’re safe.
I myself have 2 tattoos and 6 piercings- 4 in my ears, tongue piercing and bellybutton.
Funny thing is, I live in eastern Europe (hah), and over here, nobody really reacts when they find out I have a tongue piercing, but anywhere else I go, I automatically get a LOT of dirty looks and shocked faces. Not that it bothers me too much.
Btw, did yours leave a scar when you took it out?

(Oh and about the incentive not to get fat – brill idea, but should try that with the tongue piercing, can’t see it – need to eat less…and no mirrors!)

Oh Buck I agree.. Even tho I have both tattoos and piercings I do agree with ur theory. Thats how I talked my dad into letting me pierce my libret (below the lip above the chin. Even tho my dad is a tattoo artist I told him if I get this piercing and I keep it for a long time then Ill get a tattoo. I kept that piercing for years! I got it when I was 16 I just took it out and I am 21.(5 yrs) along the way I also picked up an eyebrow ring (only last 2 yrs) a nose ring that lasted 4 months (bc of work) a tongue ring that I still have 3 yrs in counting =D and MANY piercings in my ears all of which i still have but 1 bc of a rly bad infection. And then I have 1 lonely tattoo on my back… (My dad tattooed me then a few yrs later his apprentice touched it up and FUCKED it up *sryy bad word* but its true.) =( Now I am awaiting my next tattoo I can not wait! I still love all my piercings but I think I am getting a little to old for them, Thus why I have started takeing them out (i have taken the eye brow ring, and libret out in July of 09 and the nose ring was Aug of 08) No more piercings for me… Even tho I love them they wont help me get a job. Time for me to be an adult and take them out (IM SOOOO keeping my Tongue ring no matter what.. I would be lost with out it)
