A couple of months ago I signed up for some websites that match Twitter users with advertisers. One of them was https://ad.ly.

I had not had any offers until today so I had forgotten about it! I know when people do things like this, people sometimes reply negatively so I just wanted to give you a heads up that I was doing it. I did this on YouTube before I started doing sponsored videos too. Now with all the new FTC regulations, you have to be clear anyways. The end of every Ad.ly tweet is marked with “(Ad)” notifying your audience that this is an advertisement.

Also know this is not a regular thing! I tweet like 24 times a day! HA! This is one sponsored tweet. I just wanted you to know about. Who knows if I will get any offers after this one!

I always tell other YouTubers and Internet Personalities to take advantage of opportunities like this when they are comfortable doing so. It is very flattering that companies want to work with us (like the Carls Jr campaign last year, the Kodak one this year or the super awesome Pop Tarts one over the weekend with Dave Days and Venitian Princess!!).

I have done several sponsored videos in the past two years- most were for TV shows or movies. I have never said yes if it didn’t feel right or I don’t think I can make it work. It rarely requires thought. I get an offer, I think -”oh that will be easy” and i do it or I think- “no way, can’t wrap my brain around it“, and I say no.

The same goes for Twitter, if it doesn’t feel right, I won’t do it. The one I am going to do first was a no brainer, I thought “why wouldn’t I tweet this?” HA!

I was going to tweet and ask what you all thought about but I know the answers.

The people who “get it” will say “YAY! Great Buck- good for you! You deserve it!”

The people who do not will say “sell out, whore!” LOL I added the “whore” for fun!

And the people who are in the middle say things like ” I would never do that” – but then they eventually do or they do it in a different way, but they are still doing it! LOL (oh snap)!

What’s new? How did you sleep? I am sleeping very well lately! Yay!
Today is full day over at the new house. Windows are being put in, the alarm is being put in and I am trying to get some AC prices because I didn’t like the price I got from the first company.

Also I have three calls today for video projects so that is good! I am optimistic all will work out!

What else? ……I am watching Housesitter again since there is no cable here yet!

Heads up! I am posting my 12th Grade vlog today on peron75 which will complete my school year vlogs!

I am feeling so at home here! Once the dogs and furniture are here I am sure more so but it’s funny how the first few weeks I was like “who’s house is this” and I’d turn and go the wrong way out of rooms! HA! It’s all fun and exciting! I will miss my old house but happy that I really like the couple who is buying it!

Last night I took out my belly button piercing. I had had it in since summer of 1999!
At the time, I thought it was so cute! I was 24 and thought I was 17. HA!
Now I am 34 and know I am 34 and didn’t think it was so cute anymore.

Also last night, I was cuddling Collin and his paw was in my belly button and quite frankly it was annoying me!

Some of you used to ask about it on the live shows when I would do a handstand and I avoided the question why my belly button was sparkling!
“Special gay lint” I should have said!

It was ten years and I think I kept it these last five or so years I only kept it as incentive not to get fat.
Becuase I would look down and if I saw it, I was thin.
If it was hidden, I needed to eat less that week (since you know exercice is not really an option for me!).

I remember showing my poor mother who was sick that summer and I am sure she was horrified! Just as my father was the following year when I showed my father my tounge ring (which only lasted a year!)

I always avoided tattoos because I knew one day I would tire of it. With a piercing, you know you can take it out someday.
Some of you pull off tattoos very well- I could not!

Rest in peace belly ring! You were totes cute for a while!
Off to have a Diet Coke for lunch! SHA!
