I wear square glasses too, haha. I feel that I look weird without them now, I don’t know why that is.. Hmm. They’re black Ray Bans with pink on the inside part of the frame. I like them a lot. Definitely look at Ray Bans next time you’re getting a new pair of glasses. They have quite a few different kinds of square ones that are really nice :]

I actually kind of like the rimless glasses. It still looks like you’re wearing glasses and adds to your face but not as noticeable as the square rimmed. I don’t know, I like those. Hope you have good luck finding your new ones.

I am wearing glasses since I am 1,5y and I basiclly can’t see anything w/o them.
I usually wear greenish blue glasses. But I want to get some new ones. Without glasses my eyes kind of glow blueish - which I like.
Did the kids in school ever make fun of you because you wore glasses?
In Germany we have the expression “Brillenschlange” (glasses snail) doesn’t work in English though. Anyway, the other kids to annoy me a lot.
I am glad that you like your glasses. Makes me feel better about mine (I can’t wear contacts either)

I use to wear glasses… got my eyes done so glad I don’t have to wear them anymore! So worth getting it done!

The rimless ones I don’t like. They would be nice if your going out for a formal dinner type thing. The one that go up on the sides….I don’t like those either. They don’t do anything for you/The first pair that are rally old and the last pair are my fav!

The last pair was my favorite, but I like the rimless ones too. They’re very classy.
I wear glasses, but I just have one boring pair. I call them my “slutty librarian” glasses because they have thick black rims and look like the kind of glasses strippers and porn stars wear when they want to look like librarians or teachers. Not that I know about that kind of thing.

OMG…I have worn glasses since I was in the 1st grade. I absolutely hate glasses! They always got in my way, or fell off my face
I recently swapped to contacts 
At first I thought they made me look like I had bags under my eyes, but that went away after a few weeks. The only sad thing is that before contacts my eyes changed colors to match the clothes I was wearing …now the contacts make them constantly blue 
I think you look good without your glasses, but I definitely love you with your glasses, more!

My favorite was your last pair (you favorites) Haha. They’re just more colorful than the other ones. And the no-frame ones make your eyes bigger and bring them out more, but I still like the last ones best! <3
I don’t need to wear glasses, but I like to wear those fake perscription ones that really have no perscription at all, haha. I think I look good in glasses…but IDK, haha. You definately look good in glasses!

Those rimless glasses make you look like a dentist xD You should start thinking about your OWN line of glasses. Stick to those D&G they work well with you; and you should try different colors.. BANANA yellow or no?
I have a slight astigmatism in my right eye, fancy isn’t it? I’m supposed to be wearing glasses; I just never got around to filling the subscription.

I agree with you Michael, the rectangular frames suit your face since you have a long thin face. The rimless glasses would probably look really good in person, but since you were so far from the camera it was difficult to see any of the detail.
As for me, I had Lasik surgery done in 2000, so I haven’t had to wear any since then. I buy a lot of sunglasses now.

I wear glasses too, my eyes are way too dry for contacts; I had an endless, horrible month when I tried them. Unlike me, you look really good in yours, mine just make me look… like someone forgot a piece of plastic on my face.
I thought you looked nice without them, sort of like Ben Affleck? Do you have prescription sunglasses? I had some but then my prescrip changed and it all went to hell because I’m poor. I think I know what’s wrong with the ones you didn’t like on camera, they’re slightly higher on the left (or your right) and they might look better if you shot from straight on instead of from a little below like you were.
I like the latest ones the best, the green/blue ones. I’ve always wanted designer glasses, but like I said, poor. Mine were sixty bucks from Costco, but they serve.

I love all your glasses… the only pair that bothered me was the pair that made you look like you weren’t wearing glasses… they only freaked me out cause it’s like, on your eyes you can’t see them but then on the side of your face there’s these lines from the frame and also every now and then there’d be a glare on them and it’s like “omfg. there’s a glare in your face. O_o”
Sorry. That was creepy.
Anywho… the D&G glasses are my fave on you too. Sexy. Lol. I have reading glasses but that’s all I have… I have 20/15 vision ((yayyyyy me! hehe)) but my astigmatism makes my eyes hurt when I read. So yeah.
You should have some guest stars in your videos sometime, dear. That’d be neato.

I wear rimless (is that even how you spell it? I’ve never even said that word before XD LOL!) glasses as of now, and like you, my eyes are very deep-set. But I find that wearing glasses does bring out my eyes a lot more, and I think they do the same for you. You look awesome in glasses
My favorites are the D&G ones, too. The color brings out your eye color well. ^_^ God, if I could afford designer glasses I’d probably buy some…those look great! ;D

Interesting. The first pair, you say are green. They look darker on my screen. The last pair of green look very nice. I love them all. But I totally agree with you about the ones that “don’t look quite right.” They are too wide on the outer top edges, I think. Whatever it is, I agree. I like you without them too. Very pretty.
I wore glasses as a small child, to correct a lazy eye. I “lost” them and just never wore them again. I’m getting my eyes checked again soon. And I KNOW I’m gonna need glasses. I just don’t know a THING about picking out glasses. Any suggestions for my face?

hey buck, why don’t you try wearing different colours? like pink. or apple green, or baby blue? like it might be funny experimenting with random glasses to see what might work. hey do u ever want to change the colour of your hair? like have a random day and dye your hair blue or something (or is ur hair already dyed?)
i hated contacts. i sleep only two or four hours a day (i procrastinate so when i finally do my work the sun’s already rising) and it’s hard enough trying to open my eyes with glasses, contacts just make my eyes feel like they’re burning. and they rip, and i’m so disorganized that i forget to wash them or they keep falling or something. and i have these bags under my eyes so i look like a nerd with glasses and a serial killer without them so SCREW IT.
wait - why aren’t you able to wear contacts again? does the position of your eyeballs in your skull really affect the way contact lenses work??? ever want to try random colours for your eyes? like purple? might be fun at parties, you know, matching colours (hair, glasses, eyes, clothes) but freaky if you’re going to work…

Hey Buck … it feels really weird to comment — I’ve been watching since you started out, but have never commented before! buckhollywood has been my homepage ever since you got it going , and I’ve got RSS feeds of your youtube videos, just in case I miss something … I’m a bit of a closet fanatic. I guess I’m out now!
I wear glasses too … I think I look silly without them. My eyes are also set back a bit, and I’m a redhead, so my brows and lashes are blond, which makes my eyes disappear even more. People tell me I have relatively big eyes, but unless I’m wearing mascara (which I don’t do often because I can’t stand touching or going anywhere near my eyes!) they just seem to disappear.
My glasses are Vanni’s (Italian brand). They have no rims on the top, which is quite the opposite from most glasses you see around. I love them.

I love the safety blanket of my glasses. I always get square, plastic framed trendy type ones because they look best on my fat face LOL. Then last year I decided to do the wire frame for something different and I don’t like them as much. I am going to go soon-when my insurance “year” is up-and go back to my square frame ones. You really got to stop eating and drinking Diet Coke and Splenda! I was reading an article that said the those things include something called “Aspartame” which can cause things such a cancer, Metabolic syndrome, Brain Tumors, and sometimes weight gain. (Trust me, I wikied it to make sure its true)

Hey nice little peice. Your glasses choice influenced my recent glasses choice. I usually trying to get rounded glasses with a light color to kinda blend into my face. everybody was telling me to go smaller. and I love the look so I got a small square red pair of CK frames. I at first thought that folks would mess with the stright guy wearing the red frames but folks either did not notice or loved them. I love your style.

I’m supposed to wear glasses after I failed the vision portion that’s required to get your permit and had to go to the eye doctor. The ones I have are squareish frame, wine color and by Burberry, I love them, even though I don’t wear them. It was between those or a pair of Ray Bans that were blond colored (but my hair’s blonde so it didn’t stand out too well).
Oh and the frameless ones make you weird because it’s like nothings there but there’s a glare when you move. lol, just saying.

I tried contact lenses for a couple of months, but went back to glasses. I have a gold pair and a metallic pink pair (pretty boring). I did buy what I thought were very cool sunglasses a few years ago - then I went home to attend my father’s funeral, and my brother took one look at me and said I had “Ozzy Osbourne sunglasses”. How rude! But it did make us laugh during a sad time (I kept yelling “Sharon!” in my best Ozzy voice)… so I guess it evens out.
I like your D&G glasses the best. They really put the focus on your eyes (at least in your videos)… unless you’re wearing that Beavers t-shirt.
But yeah, the focus-on-the-eyes thing is good when you’re speaking to an audience.
(You look like “The Fly” with all of your glasses on at once, kinda scary..)

Hey Buck! I started wearing glasses in 5th grade. At first I didn’t mind, but time went on and I began to hate wearing them. However, my partents would never spend the money to buy me contacts so when I got to college and had my own job, I bought myself contacts. I like them so much better. I can’t stand glasses because I can always see the rim, which bothers me and I can’t stand to eat with them on. I think you look good with and without the glasses, so do you want to do! I think if you are getting some new glasses, you should get a new color ^_^

i have these contacts that you put in at night and then you take them out in the morning and you can see perfectly, as if you had contacts in.
and you can leave them out for a night and still have decent vision the next day.
there great if you dont like wearing glasses and if you get dry eyes with contacts

I think that all of those glasses look GREAT on you, but I can see what your saying about the rimless *hahaha rimless* one’s, they just don’t make your eyes pop as much as the others. Loving the blue-green D&G ones! I was actually thinking about getting one like that but I am not sure how they would look on my face. I know what your saying about the specific shape of glasses that fits your face. Mine are small oval ones, they fit in the frame of my eye perfectly. I almost grabbed some D&G ones last time I was at Lenscrafters but I didn’t have enough money. Enough about me, where do you get your glasses, just at Lencrafters or somewhere else?

I wear square glasses too. Not quite as square as yours, but I feel the same way about my face as you do. My face just doesn’t look right without them, and I hate contacts because the ones I would need to wear to correct my vision are uncomfortable. I also find that people look sexier in glasses to me…

Yup, I wear the rectangles, too… I’ve got a long face like yours, so rectangles suit us. Mine are thin & black to match ALL jewelry, dahling! I think they’re Dior, but the name has rubbed off, they’re so ancient! I fall asleep in them all the time– hate getting new glasses! The Izods are fab, but not for videos… fun weekenders, maybe? Your rimless just make you look like a HOT MESS!!!

I adore your D&G glasses. You look so great in them. I really liked the rimless glasses too though. That may just be because I’m dying to find a pair of rimless glasses for myself. I can’t find ones I like 100%.
I usually just wear contacts. I have sort of half rim glasses. The bottom part is rimless. I like them alright, but I don’t wear them too often. I really do want rimless glasses so badly though and I’m always going into stores to try them on, so hopefully I’ll find a good pair soon.

I wear glasses, and I just got a new pair! I don’t know if you’d look good in them, but maybe you should try on some half-rimmed ones. They didn’t look good on me (I’m a thick framer myself) but I think it’s worth a try! And if you’ve never tried them before, you might find a new favorite!
My new glasses are purple with a blue spot right on the edge! When I brought them home, my sister said they reminded her of you!! I hadn’t thought about it, but I think she was right!
And…your D&G are my favorite on you, too.

YAY! I love glasses too! I’ve worn them since third grade (always have been a LensCrafters customer!) and in high school I began getting fashionable ones. I had two pairs of Armanis (first ones tortoise shell and kind of round/rectangular, second ones medium brown and almost cat eye-looking) but after LensCrafters ditched that line I went with really awesome two-tone green Pradas that I got in college. They’re rectangular and resemble your D&G glasses–which are my favorite pair of yours, by the way–only with a thicker side part. I found a pair on lenscrafters.com that are similar, but are tortoiseshell. I’m not sure a tortoiseshell pattern would work for you (I don’t know, it’s kind of outdated to me and you’re more hip than that, lol), but I think you should definitely consider this two-tone style.

I’ve been told that I have pretty blue eyes and my mom is constantly dogging me about getting contacts, but I just love wearing glasses because you’re able to really express yourself with a cool pair. Plus, contacts actually hurt my eyes and make my vision worse–and I’ve tried different brands with different prescriptions–so that makes the glasses choice that much more attractive!
Anyway, another recommendation: my boyfriend finally let me pick out his glasses for him a few months ago and I chose a nice black Ray-Ban style. They kind of remind me of a Buddy Holly frame, only a little more modern. You should consider Ray-Bans, but Pradas are just more fun. And I couldn’t agree more with a nice splash of color…Ray-Bans aren’t always colorful, so you should also check out D&G’s new designs. Black and turquoise…wow!
And the rimless glasses kind of remind me of Stephen Colbert…hehe
Rimless glasses are a little too boring for me…I mean, they’re professional, but they just don’t pop.
Oh…and my mom wants to marry you (she loves your show, and she always asks me “Does Buck have a new video yet?”) and thinks that you’d make a great drinking buddy. lol!

hey buck, i can’t get contacts either but it’s cuz i fall asleep all the time and i don’t wanna have my eyes permanently shut cuz i fell asleep w/ contacts on. neway i like my glasses cuz just like u they do so much for me. “I have slits for eyes” is my myspace name…glasses sorta magnify my eyes and they’re also good at hiding dark circles. Oh and this makes absolutely no sense but i feel like w/o my glasses i can’t hear as well. maybe i subconsciously read ppl’s lips?

The rimless frames must go. They don’t look good on you or a majority of the public. Love the square frames. I wish you would wear contacts you have a great face for glasses but you also would look good without them. I have both contacts and glasses and I love them both. I wish I had your insurance mine sucks therefore I end up getting crappy cheap frames.

I have round glasses. You’ve inspired me to get square ones. I considered getting rimless glasses a couple of years ago but the glasses seller guy said they’re for old people :/ They weren’t rimless, just the bottom half was.

I was always nervous changing the look of my glasses but last year, there seemed to be so much on offer that I couldn’t not turn down the chance to change them so I went for something similar to what you wear but metallic and I love them, I think they’re my best glasses ever. You do look good with the rimless glasses, don’t put yourself down. But I know what you mean about the branding, it would be weird if you did a TV appearance without them!

You live in CT, right? Try Eye Fetish Optique in Pleasantville, NY!! They have really high-end, bold, stylish glasses. I got my glasses there (I’ve worn glasses since I was 2) and my whole family has glasses from there - even my sister who doesn’t even need glasses! LOL
I tried going with contacts for about two weeks - WORST DECISION EVER haha I’m a glasses person.
So yeah check them out they’re really high quality

Hey Buck. I just wanted to say that I’m a big new fan of your show. I’ve been watching for a few weeks now and I’m hooked! Keep up the great work.
I wear glasses and I have always been partial to what I think of as “fat ovals”. I’m a guy with a long face and I find it makes me look a bit more normal when the rims make my eye sockets seem a bit bigger. Anyway, just a thought.
