Gay Self Hate

I am so glad this person wrote to me. I think he was very brave and thoughtful to take the time to try to make something right that he felt bad about.

People often leave hateful comments – drive by hate. Few come back to say I am sorry.

I never feel bad when I read a hateful comment. I know it comes with what I do. But I certainly smile and feel warm inside when I read the nice ones. :-)

Happy Sunday!

Oh wow! I can’t believe the turn-around! It must’ve taken real guts to apologize like that. I HATE YouTube haters but it’s good to know that at least some of them mature & can apologize [:

I think we all can be critical of things we fear. To recognize that and get beyond it is a huge step for anyone. Looking forward to the live show tonight! xo TC

It is one thing to make a comment or do something that is hateful or harmful towards others — BUT to admit to a mistake and to apologize for such mistake shows not only true courage but really presents the true character of a person. He is to be commended for being willing to apologize for a mistake and his family members and friends should be proud of him for who he is and love him for who he is…. I know many people that are half a person or man for that matter that do things and realize the things they did are wrong or a mistake – but don’t have the courage or guts to apologize and try to correct the things they should not have said or done…. I know that this person will sleep better at night – not having a guilty conscious and his apology will hopefully be contagious and others that make mistakes will follow suit and not be afraid to admit their mistakes and faults. We are all human – and we all make mistakes – some small and some not so small — but being as such as we are humans and we understand that we do make mistakes are much more forgiving than we realize — and a simple apology goes a long way and is accepted 99% of the time…. So, my hats off to the person that had the courage to apology for his hateful remarks~!~ You rock!!

I just want you to know that it is so awesome that you were so good to this person. And it was just so good that this person felt so guilty and apologized. It is a rarity. This person could have gone forever without having apologized, because with as many comments you get – both good and/or bad, you probably never seen his/her comment to begin with. Bless you Michael for sharing.
