 So I promise my blog will not be a “Hey look- I got more press” blog! It was just weird yesterday that I was in the paper and these three other stories that came out online. Two were interviews, one was some Indian Yahoo something that even I was surprised to see!

Tonight, I will be posting a new What the Buck. Please make sure you are still watching/rating over on You Tube! I just passed CBS to become number 14 Most Subscribed of all time! Yeah suck it CBS! That’s for locking me in a hotel for 12 days and then not putting me on Survivor!
Also, tonight I will have a new blog over here with a topic from the show that I would like your input on! It is actually a petition/open letter! So I will need you all the come back and sign it! Do you love it?!

IS DOUCHEY A SWEAR? I died when I saw that the article in the Courant quoted me as saying “douchey”.

That was a really good article in your local paper. Its really cool that they mentioned your husband. When William Sledd had an article in the local magazine and TV news, they didnt even mention that his posts are titled “Ask a Gay Man”, I thought that was so lame. We have Danni Minogue (gradually coming out as a nazi racist live on air), some irish guy called Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne (As crazy, if not more, as Paula Abdul. This week’s show she was either drunk, or high on something, and then she stormed off air!) and Simon Cowell. And as the act’s we have some creepy brother-sister double act called Same Difference (which they’re trying to turn into a british Sharpay and Ryan, but they’re totally failing) and this obnoxious opera singer called Rydhian, who had really creepy hair this week. Oh, and a group which could easily outskank the Pussycat Dolls. But seriously, it’s all so weird!

I don’t think Douchey is a swear word. I was suprised though to see it in the article. I think it’s more like the word “stupid”. My mother didn’t want me to call anyone “stupid” but it wasn’t a swear word. Kinda like she didn’t want me to say the word “crap”. After awhile she gave up.

First of all, kudos! I love all the positive press you’re getting because it’s so well-deserved.
I’m going to keep submitting your name to EW, and I emailed the DJs at a local radio station and told them about you; maybe you’ll get a shout-out on WMMR in Philly.
Second, I do think “douchey” is a swear. I teach high school English, and my kids are only allowed to say a curse word if it’s in the novel/play we’re reading. Otherwise, my rule is that if they say it on the Disney Channel, they can say it in class. Lame, I know, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Finally, keep up the great work! Even after dozens of views, your videos still make me laugh, particularly the HSM2 one, which is probably my fav.

I would say ‘douchey’ is a mild swear, but not a bad one. It is not inherently offensive, but if a young child asked what it meant, it might take some awkward explanation.
I like it, actually. I’m going to describe more things as ‘douchey’ from now on.

I live in a rural area, I don’t have TV reception and have never seen the TV shows you routinely discuss. I don’t listen to today’s popular music - I prefer classical music. I prefer old B&W movies prior to 1950. The only celebrity gossip I know about is what I see on the tabloid covers in the checkout line. I read mostly science and history books or old novels. So why would I like “What the Buck” ? I have no idea! But I love your take on things. Keep up the good humor, I look forward to each new video. Good luck!

Oh, and I have suggestions too.
1. Could you tell the technical people to create a search for your site only. I like to read certain posters comments and you have soooo many friends that it can take a while to find certain posters.
2. If you would reply to a post, perhaps it could go to the posters personal email and to the board simultaneously.
