  1. The farting part didn’t exactly make me go ‘LOL’, more like ‘aww’. Great to hear you had such a nice teacher.

It’s really weird, I’m almost 16 and I only remember parts of my third grade. We had really big (and noisy and whatnot) class with 30 kids in it. I was starting to get very timid and shy at the time, so with a class like that almost each day was pretty much me feeling very uneasy.

I’ve been feeling like crap for couple of days, this video really made me cheer up :)

    I remember that episode.
Aww, I can just picture a little Buck giving a toast.

I remember in 3rd grade I became less shy.
Like, in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade I was really shy, but in 3rd grade I was loud and I never shut up.
I don’t think my teacher liked me very much, because no matter how far away she made my best friend Leah and I sit away from each other, we’d always talk.
I got my work done, though.
    I was super competitive, though.
I remember this one kid and I would race to see who would get their work done first.
    xD
Then there was Gifted testing, I hated that.
I was pretty much terrified of the teacher who was running it, so I’d go back to being all quiet (only a couple kids did the test, my best friend wasn’t there) and just finish the damn test.
I don’t know how the test works, but I was gifted (still am ;D) an I had to switch schools in Grade 4.
    I was terrified of that.

  5. I remember you telling the farting story in a live chat, classic.
Third grade was amazing for me too- I had the teacher everyone wished they would have gotten and all the other classes were jealous because we did all the fun cool stuff. Your frog story reminds me of pretty much the exact same thing except with paper machete globes..

  6. I will give just 1 quick storie that I find funny and remember about my grade 3

    1. I was doing a public speaking presentation in class and my friend Mike, who’s hilarious, would always try and make me laugh so I knew that I couldn’t look at him during the presentation or I would laugh so what I would do is because you need to look at the audience I would always just look up or down to the people in front or behind him just to skip over him so my head was in constant circle motions trying to avoid eye contact with him

  7. Third grade was not that good for me. I had a very mean teacher named Mrs. Lieber. She was the grouchiest person ever and yelled all the time about stupid little things. I hated 3rd grade!

  10. 3rd grade was ok. it was the year i moved from wisconsin to illinois the summer before, and it was the year all the mean girl stuff started. i made friends with three other girls and we would constantly get in fights for no reason, and we would always be 2 on 2 so it was fair. we were never truly mad at each other, we just liked to fight. :)

  11. Aww- that was so sweet. I am so glad you loved third grade. Your teacher sounds wonderful. And it was so nice that you thought to bring a big mac container in case someone else did not have it.

Third grade was great for me too. I have not read books for fun since middle school, but when I was in third grade we would get a star for each book we read and I had the most stars because I was so competitive.

  12. Poor you, I understand why that must’ve been embarresing. Some teachers can be realy inspirationel, my year 6 teacher, Mrs. Tolhurst, was great, but my year 4 teacher once read out my story in front of the entire class to show how your sentences need good punctuation when mine didn’t have any. I practicaly cried!!!!
I’m from London and we don’tdo grades so how old are you in grade 3?
    Great Story, though!
