The new episode of the What the Buck Show was the one for Thursday and then Miley had to go and say she was sorry she was a skank so I shot an update for the end and posted it today! YAY!

I believe her when she says she thought they would be artistic and they could have been if there wasn’t such a taboo against nudity in America (despite the huge profits of the pornography industry). She is a growing young woman trying to find her voice - and when she makes the mistakes that every young person makes we all get to hear about it and judge her because she is famous and extremely popular. She is walking a really hard line between growing up at her own pace and continuing to be a role model to young girls - relax everyone!

I guess because nudity is pretty taboo in the states makes so many people believe it was a bad decision by the photographer and her parents to allow the photo to be published. If that was my daughter, my friends, family and neighbors would call the police on me for child pornography. That’s how we roll in the states. We can’t call it art for one kid and porn for another. But I agree Maj, people need to relax. The kid and her parents signed off on it and we can either buy the magazine or not.

The fact remains, that she is a 15 year old child and her parents should be looking out for her best interest. These are not the kind of pictures that a 15 year old should pose for.
The fact remains, that she IS being exploited by this industry and the adults that should be helping her make better decisions are the ones allowing this take place. It has nothing to do with anything, but the simple fact that she is a child and the adults who took/allowed these pictures knew it would cause the ruckus it did.

On Showbiz Tonight they had a guy on talking about how the only reason these pictures were causing problems was because Miley is a young star who is a role model, but other 15 year olds are doing this too, so it isn’t anything out of the norm.
Um, so that makes it okay and right to take picures like these of young girls, because others are doing it?
The logic of some of these adults astounds me!

Hi Buck!! Another brilliant “WTBS” You can cover it like noone else can cover it. I really enjoy visitng you here everyday. Today especially, I hope your humor will bring a smile to my face while I’m starving myself. See, tomarrow I have to have a medical procedure (exploritory) so, all day today and half of tomarrow I can not eat anything, just drink clear liquids. “YUK” but you keep my mind off the bad, as long as your not eating that yummy salad or cereal. Oh, and I wanted to add that, I’m with you on the Miley pic. People are making to big a deal! I have an almost 14 year old daughter, Ashlee. And her and all the other teens out there w/myspace pages post pics just like that, thier teens who are transistioning into women and there going to want to try new things. I get it that she is a roll model, but it will happen to all girls her age regardless. My 6 year old daughter, Skylar, likes her alot and she has no idea about that pic. she dont watch entertainment shows that are covering it. So no damage done there. I just “keep it to my self” ha

I think the photo was artistic and beautiful. It’s not like she’s showing her knockers (PS: Since when do girls her age have knockers like that?!) it’s her BACK for crying out loud! Also, the last time I checked, the Disney audience has never been the first to run out and grab a copy of Vanity Fair. I think it’s being blown way out of proportion!
As for Mimi, (I did catch that Good Morning America, by the way! HOT MESS) you’re right…she’s freaking terrifying. What bothers me about her is that she can sing! Why the frig is she lipsynching when she has one of the most amazing voices in the industry? I think she’s been concentrating too much on her image, this time around, and not enough on her vocals.
Last but not least…love. I think if you’re a celebrity, you should try your best to keep it quiet. You’re right Buck! The people who jump on couches, who invite the media to weddings, who make a big fuss over it, usually end up looking like jackasses, and having a career in shambles over it. I agree with Cindy…KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!
One more thing…I didn’t get a chance to comment on the last few vids, but they’re great. I was dying to hear what you’d have to say about American Idol! Carly needed to go, but Brooke better sing her ass off this week, because she DOES NOT deserve to be there! (I definitely threw a pen at the tv when she was “safe”)
