My inbox tonight is full with emails asking me to talk about the new Miley Cyrus pics.
Honestly, what can I say? I have talked about “racy” Miley pics before. I could use one of these pics as a thumbnail in the show tomorrow and get lots of hits but I just really have nothing to say about it.Â
She wears a bra and cuddles.

Actually these pictures aren’t even bad.
First one- a little cleavage and bra, big whoop
Second One- okay she’s sprawled all over him with a little less clothing, still not to bad
Third One- Not bad at all, kind of cute actually

Here is my two cents on this whole matter….
These are not scandalous pictures. She isn’t nude or having sex or doing something that should make people freak out to the extent they are freaking out. Was it wise of her, in this day and age of you tube and tabloids, to take these types of pictures being who she is? Probably not, but again, she is acting like a typical 15 year old and trying to push boundries and act older than she is.
Millions of teen girls have done this before and will continue to do this in the future. My problem with these pictures is that stars like Miley Cyrus say one thing and than do the exact opposite of what they say. Does this make her a bad person? No! It makes her human. Will she regret all these pictures that are leaked out onto the net or saying certain things she has said to the press? Possibly!Will the world end because Miley Cyrus showed her green bra? Not likely!
If you are a parent of young girls, my best advice to you is to keep the lines of communication open with your kids. Talk to them regularly about these things. Let them know that they can come to you with anything and everything and to never be ashamed to tell you about their mistakes. Don’t let celebs be their role models. YOU should be their role model and you should teach them the positive values and good morals that will help them become great people!

That was the smartest thing I have ever read on any internet blog/comment page ever. I completely, 100% agree.
I have always believed parents are the best teachers and role models for their children. There is no reason on earth kids (boys and girls alike) should not be able to have a stable, loving support system through their folks- unless the mother and father are not ready for the huge responsibility that is parenthood.
Parents can totally neutralize the danger that badly behaved celebs pose to their children by making it clear that there are consequences to the choices celebs make. These consequences make it quite obvious that some people just don’t know what they are doing with their lives. All you need to do is communicate with your children and practice what you preach. If you do that, the actions of Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton become a non-issue. You are your children’s default and safety net.
Use this example as a chance to explain to children the pitfalls of stardom and the vapidness of celebrity gossip (no offense Buck - the point is to be funny, not deep!).

Thanks! I really truly do believe that parents can be the best role models for their kids. It takes work, but it’s worth it in the end.
And you are so correct when you say that the actions of these young stars will be non issues if you talk about it openly and practice what you preach.

What I don’t get is the fact that Miley is being treated like a little whore, and ok, the pictures she has can be a little slutty, but Jamie Lynn Spears is being called a “strong woman” and it must be difficult in her situation.

I think that people are only making a huge deal out of all this because they all hate her. Why? I have no idea. There’s nothing to hate, really. She’s a good actress, and a good singer. Think about how hard she had to work for that, despite the fact that she has a famous daughter. Truth, it’s hard to get anywhere if you’re a country girl like she is.
Personally, the only thing I see wrong with these photos is the fact that she could dye her hair blond and look exactly like Hannah with that hair.
But seriously, people, how many of you have taken pictures of you and your boyfriend with little clothing on? Don’t deny it, I bet you all have.

I’ve never taken any photos like that…especially in this day and age, never take pictures of anything you wouldn’t be comfortable with the world seeing! (Okay, maybe that’s a little dramatic and mostly applies to celebrities, but look at the Star Wars kid…he was a normal guy but some classmates got a hold of that tape of his and look at what happened.)

the only problem i have with these pictures is that the guy she’s posing with looks to be much older than she is, the pictures for the most part are no big deal. however she is miley cyrus and she knows, she should stop taking these pictures and stop letting people take these pictures of her if she knows they can get out like this. also, kids are looking at this, miley please put some clothes on.

I never really liked her and I still have my theories on Billy Ray getting her famous since he’s a country singer who had a hit song in the 80s/90s. Watever on that anyways for the BOTD(Benifit of the doubt) these should be for personal showing insted of on youtube or a famous blog website(Hi buck love ur show/site) because now theres going to be more controversy about her showing herself n the what not. This is the talk of our school for the fact that the guy (I will reveal no names) is my regular school mate and obviously goes to my school. No he’s not female. I know the kid’s father well and we were on the same AYSO soccer team a few years ago. I think the only reason they are together is because his dad is an accomplished owner of some music label and he have extensive connections with established people and his son can take advantage of that.

Well, personally…. I couldn’t give a shit less. She’s not flashing tits or bush or getting fucked in the ass, so who cares? She’s 15, richer than the devil and has zillions of creepy “super fans”… I don’t think the world will crumble because she showed of her (may I say hideous) green lace bra.
If anything, her father should be getting on her ass for that… not the media. We can say whatever the hell we like, with no ill effect. Billy Ray, however, is her father. And scary things can happen when you piss off your father. At least in my house it was like that… she’s probably a little spoiled princess, so who knows…
Anyways, I don’t think everyone should make such a big deal about this.
