seriously, i’ve been at a summer camp for the past 3 weeks, and all of us just brushed our teeth while we were showering.
because taking the extra step to do it in hte sink is just unnecessary.

And you are saving the environment and stopping global warming by doing that in the shower and saving on water. Why would anyone think that is weird? I think it’s weird that people think that’s weird!

i use a sonicare toothbrush, and i use the sink because i have a waterpik too.. does anyone know what a waterpik is????

It sometimes depends. Normally I brush with the sink, and warm water (the cold water hurts my teeth), but if I’m really pressed for time, I’ll brush while I’m in the shower, to get more things done at once. lol.

Shower all the way (you said that at the end and it was exactly what I was thinking). I don’t remember when I started doing it in the shower but when I lived at home I used to get yelled at for leaving the toothpaste in there. Now at my apartment the toothpaste is in the shower and my brush is in the holder on the counter right next to the shower. I don’t leave the brush in there because I’m afraid of getting soap/shampoo on it.

I guess brushing in the shower would eliminate that whole toothpaste spatter on the mirror issue. The “saving the environment” argument doesn’t hold water (hee hee!), since, no matter HOW good you are at multi-tasking, you’ll always need more shower time the more you do in there (brushing, shaving, etc)–and it’s not as much of a pain to shut the tap off while you’re brushing as it is to shut the hot water off in the shower!

omigosh Im so glad you brush your teeth in the shower! lol.. my “friends” think Im so weird for doing that. its great-like… first shampoo, then conditioner, than soap, then brush teeth, then wash face and rinse conditioner. I like to think im being efficient lol…

I have never brushed my teeth in the shower. That is so weird. I just got braces and I have to floss, brush my teeth and then use a water pik.

i always brush in the sink. The thought of spitting where I’m standing, even if it will just wash off, is disgusting to me. I’ve never heard of anyone else doing this besides you

I don’t take showers (baths, please!) so nope, never in the shower. Always in the sink. However, I have heard of folks doing the tooth-brushing thing in the shower…but it’d be kinda yuck to spit in bathwater, right?

I brush in the sink! (: I have brushed in the shower before though and think it’s quite convenient. You use up more water though in the shower vs the sink.

Shower for sure… except I have an electric toothbrush too and when I was a freshman in college I would brush my teeth in the shower and people would hear that vibrating noise coming from my shower and be like.. wtf..

BRUSHING MY TEETHIES IN THE SHOWER ALL THE WAY. My toothbrush is yellow, I love it. HAD TO HAVE ITT…. wow I watch this show too much… I wish you had like a TV show, and I could buy the seasons… and just watch it… all the time. I’m creepy. Both. Most of the time sink. Usually only do shower if I am short of time in the morning. Or after I workout at night because I’m tired and want everything done at once so I can go to bed.
Hubby thinks it’s strange though when i brush in the shower.

Sink because I need to have a mirror when I brush my teeth/shave.

Never tried the shower, just didn’t occurr to me!Lol.Will have a go next time though.
