Dear Buck,
Thanks so much for helping me with this! I appreciate it and I love your vids! My mom is an A-hole! There is this guy i really like, and my friend’s dad coaches his basket-ball team. They are going out of town for a tournament, and my friend has to go. Her dad said she could bring a friend so she invited me, knowing that I am in love with this guy, and it would be an opportunity to spend a whole weekend with him! My parents were going out of town for my brothers hockey the same weekend, so I thought it would be no problem for me to go. I waited until my mom was in a really good mood, after seeing the symphony and dragging me along. To make her even more happy, I forced myself to pretend to enjoy it. On the way home, I asked her if I could go, and before I could even state any points, she started screaming, `NO! NO WAY!` She doesnt know I like the guy, and doesnt know he is going. I am so mad at her though and now she is getting mad at me saying I have to `get over it`. Do you have any ideas how I could
convince her to let me go, or how to deal with this stupid a-hole!?

sorry if this is really long (that’s what he said)but,
I really really need some advice, or maybe just some comforting?
It’s only two months into my senior year and i already feel stressed to the max! I’m constantly worried about doing well, and freaking out about what i have to do. I did not do well the first three years of High school, i’ve been dealing with a lot of things i was diagnosed with PCOS and congenital adrenal hyperplasia, i went through some sevre depression and self-harm. But i’m better now, i’m just feeling better in general, but ever since this year has started i’ve felt nothing but pressure. Applications, will i get accepted to the schools i want to be accpeted to? My grades, i have to make up for the past, and i feel like i have non stop work. My grades are really good this year so far but i feel the smallest thing could ruin that. I’m slowly falling apart, and i don’t want to lean to my old ways of dealing with problems. I just need to know that it’s not reall that big of a deal, were you this freaked out your senoir year? Should i calm down or should i stay in hyperactive freak out mode?

Thank you so much if you answer this. I love you, you make my Sundays and Thursdays less stressful and hectic(along with Jeffrey). And i’m so appreciative of you two. Thank you sooo much.

Hey Buck, question. Not as serious as some others but still…. I wanted to know when you started getting a lot of hits on youtube. And before you were getting hits did you feel like you were just talking to yourself. Sometimes I find it pointless to make videos if people won’t watch them?

I just got in a new school like two-three months ago and I never see my friends. I only have 3-4 friends at my new school and I am very lownley :’( I try to see most of my friends every few weeks but hardley ever. At my new school im in the hockey program it’s a bunch of money and im going to germany and a cruse of the mettitranen sea and I am affraid we are going to have BIG money problems. I like the hockey but it’s to much I think sometimes I just don’t want to try.

I’ve finally befriended my crush Nathaniel, and he’s very nice to me… But I’m so confused as to how he feels about me. He has a girlfriend and all, but I think he’s bisexual. He’s quiet around me most of the time unless we really get into a conversation, and while last year we would stare into one another’s eyes, now when our eyes meet, we both kinda have to turn away because I and maybe he gets nervous. I don’t know what to make of it… One of my friends even told me he saw him getting a little close (if you know what I mean) to his friend. He knows I like him; I sent him a love note a while back. I’ve been watching this live show for a while, and first i want to say how you’ve grown on me, going from this loud over the top guy to someone I definitely respect.

So here’s my story: I am 24, in the closet, and living at home after graduating in May with my bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders. My problem is that the longer that I’ve been home, the more I feel trapped and want to explode. Contributing to all this is: no employers seem to want to return any calls or emails, no job, student loans are coming due soon, my dad being morbidly obese and not wanting to get help and basically not caring enough about himself, having all my friends back at college and missing them like mad, and a constant depression that I have been on medication for since 2006. I noticed that there are a lot of high school and younger kiddos here, and I want to help them out with their problems, but I think it’s about time that I reach out myself and ask for advice and support. I am in Waiting Room Two tonight (11/8/09), and I can give you an email if people want to contact me.

I’ve already sent you an email, simply to say thank you for having an impact in my life. But now, i need some help.
Anyway, i’m Hannah, and i’m 16 (:
I was in a relationship for 2 years, it wasn’t the easiest relationship, but i’d rather not go into detail about it here. End result is, i find out he’s been with someone else for the last 6 months of our relationship.
This really, amazingly, crushed any trust i had for any guy.
I have now found, a really caring guy, who i have feelings for, but i’m constantly worried that he’s ‘messing around’ with another girl, in my defense, i know for a fact, that he and this girl have done things before i got into a relationship with him.
He tells me a few kisses has happened,since the start of our relationship and i’ve kind of been able to deal with that, but i feel like i’m being a push over simply because i’m scared to be alone again. I feel like i always need to be looked after, and be in a relationship.
This guy has promised me nothing else has or will happen with this girl, but due to my pervious relationship, i find it hard to trust him.
Honestly, do you think i need to take some time out from relationships and focus on myself? I’m really not sure how to handle this situation any more.

Only a few days ago, my parents told me that my mom has breast cancer. They said that it was caught early, so everything should be alright. But, obviously, cancer is always bad no matter what. I’m debating whether I should tell my friends, as I don’t want them to treat me differently or worry me. I’ve only told one of my closest friends, who will keep it a secret.

Hi Buck! I love your show. I have boy problems… LOL. How typical! Okay, anyway. I like this boy. However, he is so busy. He always says he wants to hang out, but he never has time. He randomly asked me to a Killers concert a few months ago but I couldn’t go (no $$$). I saw him at a play (I went back to my HS to see my school’s production of The Wiz and he was in the pit) and he gave me a hug and we talked a little bit. We text a little bit. He’s dual enrolling in the college that I’m going to. He was pretty bummed that we didn’t get any classes together. Little things like that make me think he likes me as well.

My head is saying he’s stringing me along, but my heart is saying that it’s just unfortunate. If he likes me, shouldn’t he try to make time for me? Or am I just being weird?

Then one of my friends texted me She is such a bitch queen! I’m only pretending 2 be her friend bc i feel sorry for her! and it was meant 4 my ex-friend not me. Hey Buck, I’m trying to decide whether I should join this weird honors class at my high school next year. It’s no different credits than the regular honors and you have to learn Tawainese instead of Spanish which I’ve studied for 7 years. It’s a crowded schedule and some kids end up totally anti-social, but I’m pretty social and so was my brother and he said it was a great experience and he was fine. I really love my social life and friends, but this seems like a great opportunity, what should I do?

My friend just told her parents that she was gay. I was with her when he told her parents for suport,her parents are very religous and they believe that God hates all people who dont fall in love with the opposite sex. Her parents told her she was “going to hell” and said “God will hate you forever and I never want you to come back in this house again, i dont want to see your face again!” This was both socking to both of us. She is only 17 and she has no home nor money, my parents let her stay at my house a few nights but the other nights she goes to friends house, after friends houses just to get some place to stay for the night. I always try to help her find a job and a place to stay but Its been getting really hard for me.
